This mod is opted-in to receive Donation Points. In a future update, this will be re-implemented. This was implemented to some extent in vanilla (hence how Serana had different dialogue animations throughout the DG questline) but never fully realized. This should act as a failsafe in case the game doesn't teleport Serana to you after you exit werewolf form for the first time. - Added in voice line for a drinking buddies line that didn't have one, - Fixed abruptly exiting dialogue bug with some lines, - For a lot of Serana's dialogue lines, she no longer needs to actively be following for them to trigger. This is in line with the dialogue design choice for Serana (as at least during Dawnguard) Serana's non-radiant conversations were always able to be accessed by the player at any given time, given the natural dialogue conditions are met. Well, after installing (as of this writing) 237 mods (including SDA) and never having gone through the Dawnguard questline at all in any of my many test playthroughs, I look forward to seeing what all this mod has in store. In later conversations, romance can still be opted out of, as usual. I've just released the latest 3.0 update for my Serana Dialogue Add-On mod, which adds a bunch of cool stuff! - These are technically mini-quests, but they aren't marked on your journal or anything. One of the most expansive updates for SDA to date. Bethesda mistakenly marks a lot of common areas as "Dwellings" which made Serana equip her home outfit in these areas. - The friendship variable is now optionally set through completing a set number of backstory dialogues with Serana. - Script fixes for SDA Player Background Dialogue (some didn't correctly set the quest stage), - Marked Ysolda as essential as I need her alive for the Bannered Mare quest, - Improvements to Lockpick Commentary Script, - Fixes with Radiant Commentary for DG Quests (both sides). Whenever you mount your own horse, she will mount hers in turn. With SDA, a player roleplaying as a chaotic neutral/chaotic good character is kept in mind. Log in to view your list of favourite games. This should hopefully compliment characters who are exemplary in magic and resistant to illusion spells. With this installed, you'll be exposed to her entire dialogue pool (again, all lines voiced by Laura Bailey). - Fixed Serana saying "Lani" for the "Jon" Name. - March of the Dead. Serana Dialog Add-On Check Out This Mod Serana is already one of the more life-like NPCs in Skyrim. - Tweaked conditions for "A Night to Remember" commentary to ensure the first commentary line fires off, - Tweaked conditions for some radiant romance lines to not occur if the player isn't in the mood for touchy-feely stuff, - Tweaked conditions for one of her scripted MQ commentaries to hopefully not occur while Delphine is speaking, - Tweaked dialogue fragment scripts in Serana's Forgotten Vale romance quest, so that her final dialogue lines would fire off properly, - Fixed conditions Serana's quest commentary for Discerning the Transmundane to only occur while that quest is running, - Added in missing voice greets from the previous Radiant Update, - Added in dialogue improvements to the SDA_SeranaRomance4 conversation. - Disabled more hello, goodbye, and combat lines. - Implemented a proper dismiss and wait script to Serana's "House of Horrors" and "Diplomatic Immunity" quests respectively. However, if the player chooses to remain part of the #furryfam- although Serana will disagree with you, this won't be harmful to the player-Serana relationship (as she has come to learn to respect your decisions- despite how the Companions questline brought up some of her past trauma). Certain creative liberties will still be taken, like Serana's talent for singing, fondness of alcohol, and general playful nature will still stay in the mod. - Backend improvements with WhatsOnYourMind dialogue. - Changed debug notification of Flower Girls install to say Flower Girls SE, to properly represent the Special Edition version. On the contrary, if the player isn't currently doing a Dawnguard quest (not at Forebears Holdout, the Volkihar Undercroft, Soul Cairn, etc) almost all of Laura Bailey's lines (except for some radiant player-initiated conversations are disabled in place of Kerstyn's recorded lines. This should prevent Serana talking to NPCs pretty far away, or in a different room, - Some line corrections for SDA Romance Ancestor Glade conversation, - Added more alternate voice toggles, improving the overall VA transition experience. - Serana can now ask the player if they're in the mood for lovemaking (every 2 days or so). - Serana now performs what is called a 'Silent TP' when she has quest commentary. Improved pacing and tone of the "Trust" conversation by cutting unnecessary lines that made the conversation a bit melodramatic. Linked in missing voice lines for Serana's radiant location commentary on the College of Winterhold (via 'What do you think of this place?'). If you have downloaded the Wintersun patch(s) - please re-download the new versions, as they've been edited to reflect this compatibility change as well. If the player chose to destroy the Dark Brotherhood, one of Serana's DB radiant greets should no longer occur, Increased threshold for magicka commenting, Reduced frequency of combat-end greets regarding Serana being tired. Now instead of just replacing/revoicing vanilla lines, an intelligent script scans to see if the player is actively doing a Dawnguard quest. You can now teach her spells (from a select list of vanilla spells). Frankly it'll take too much effort and also cause compatibility issues if I edit that quest for the sake of SDA's sleeping feature, so I've decided to add in this workaround for now. - Minor subtitle tweaks for the Sorine scene triggers. - Sleeping functionality. - Tweaked conditions in Winterhold radiant dialogue to only occur in the Winterhold city, and not the Winterhold hold. - Serana can now store items in a dedicated storage inventory without using or equipping them. Serana now has banter with the Auri follower (Important Update: Due to unforseen circumstances with Merrigan's (voice actor for Auri's) real life stuff, she can't record her Auri lines for now. - One of the dialogue scripts for the new Serana Romance content was not coded in correctly, which caused Serana to repeatedly do the same ForceGreet loop. The music also may have been a bit melodramatic, and maybe a bit unfitting of the game's natural music environment. Content Update with new NPC conversations in Riverwood, as well as dialogue with the player! - Added conditions to the "Trust" quest music track, just more safeguards to ensure that it doesn't keep playing even after the quest is finished. Over 160+ new lines! Install hundreds of mods with the click of a button. I've heard enough reports of people's saves being corrupted once the SDA mod is uninstalled. After this update, NFF (and any follower framework support for Serana) will be obsolete. - (For non-ESL version) Changed all armor keywords to "light armor", as Serana refers to it as light in her dialogue. The dialogue lines in this mod (nearly 5000) are all fully voiced, utilizing new voice-acted lines by Kerstyn Unger. Full Kerstyn revoices for all Serana lines during the Kindred Judgement and Touching the Sky quests (the last two quests in Dawnguard). - Disabled some post-Harkon fight player dialogue, as one of those topics was already made redundant in recent updates, - Disabled "show on the road" dialogue as this has been largely been made redundant by new radiant dialogue recorded by Kerstyn, - Disabled Serana's lycanthropy dialogue, as a lot of the added quest commentary in 2.3 supersedes this thematically, - Disabled "I'd just enjoy watching you for a bit." - Serana no longer drinks a blood potion (visibly) if she is not following the player. Dubbed Serana's Charm, this increases the player's speech skill whenever Serana is nearby (This is only available on saves which have not gotten past the point when she first romances you). The patch has been completely redone (new records and new patch name), so just to be on the safe side you should start a new game with it/a game that hasn't had a Crimson Blood patch installed. Tweaked some of Serana's forcegreet packages (mostly in Serana Romance), for her to run faster towards the player and for them to trigger and longer distances. - Serana can now cook home-cooked meals for you, similar to how vanilla spouses can. 50% of the full revoice is now covered. - Serana's House of Horrors commentary was still not occurring for some people. :D. - New RP conversations with Serana, about: -Serana asking about the player's backstory, -Comments on the player's race (she gives different insights on all the different races), - Solstheim location awareness (both for the main region and the various settlements within it. This is to prevent narrative whiplash; like how Serana could comment on your romance when the Archmage just died. Disabled for now until scene framework is fully put together. Incorporated Serana Hood Fix by thetrader, with modifications by me. So if she gets lost, or you just need her in a jiffy- Serana can pop right to your location (though, she does get a bit nauseus when teleporting (similar to Geralt from The Witcher games) so do be careful!
